Jazz Concert

Today some our young people from our wind band were given the fantastic opportunity to perform alongside the University Jazz Band as part of the Aberdeen Youth Jazz Celebration. The concert took place at lunch time and was really well attended by a variety of our young people from S1 - S6 and some of our staff. Our own Mr Harris even relived his Uni days by singing "Fly Me to the Moon" with the band, impressing our young people with his professional vocal talents. We hope to continue to extend this partnership by welcoming more music students back to St Machar Academy to work with our wind band classes again in the near future.
